Iridescent

After suffering through seventeen years of abuse from her family, Huldah Moore finds herself on the brink of death from the malevolent king's guards. A shimmering, iridescent hero comes to her rescue, and Huldah comes face-to-face with a man she thought was only a myth. After joining their kingdom, she must face more trials; however, the hardest trial she faces is her self-worth. She starts training with her new found family, the man who had saved her, and his jovial best friend. Tensions rise as Huldah and Metzil break through each other's barriers and finally discover their true selves to each other and themselves. As Huldah dives into her personal growth, the Rebel King leads Huldah into a task that only she can fulfill. Huldah soon finds out she can develop and create her future in the Rebel Kingdom through self-forgiveness instead of hatred and anger. She finds herself with Metzil in unknown territory while trying to find out if she has enough strength and willpower to continue through her most arduous struggle yet.
