The Battle of Ashkara

They were once warriors of light, bound by flame, forged in love, and chosen to fight the darkness. But before the battle could begin, they had to forget everything. Even each other. Seraphim and Malrik are divine warriors of the Last Ember, a sacred order chosen to stand against the rising Shadow in the realm of Ashkara. But to defeat the darkness, they were sent to Earth, reborn as humans, their memories sealed, their mission buried beneath the noise of mortal life. Seraphim, born with an unshakable sense of justice, becomes a voice for the voiceless. Malrik, heir to a powerful legacy, is lost in a world of illusion and control. Apart, they struggle. Together, they begin to awaken. As visions return and fragments of their divine mission rise from within, they are guided by echoes from another realm. Along with spirit kin Vaelen and Nyriel, they must journey to Blackvale Hollow to recover the Sacred Light and return to Aetherion, their celestial home, where the Flamewright Assembly, the Elders of Aetherion, and the Council of Light await. There, they reunite with Archangels Michael and Raphael, the warriors of the Gilded Dawn, the seers of the Whispered Flame, and the earthbound Guardians of the Bloom. Only this sacred host of warriors, prophets, and keepers of the ancient flame can restore the balance before all is lost. Together, they are the Defenders-souls of fire and purpose, called to rise for the final battle of Ashkara. Their descent is not a fall, but a journey.
