Murder in Degrees

I am the epitome of every girl who dreams of one day finding and marrying a good man, a handsome man, and a caring man who will complement and enrich my life and help me achieve my dreams just as I will help him achieve his dreams. I want a family and children and know that this will enhance my maturity. And I find a man and marry him but then in time, learn that he is not who he confesses to be. And so reality and my dreams are two very different worlds. But what are his intentions? Why did he marry me? Does he intend to murder me in degrees-the culmination of many small acts of unkindness and cruelty but with the intention to destroy me? This is my story and perhaps the story of many others living in abusive living situations and for which I hope to give you a message that if you seek God through your trials, you will find Him, and He will find you, so that you are not alone, and there is light at the end of the dark tunnel.
