Still Waving

Slowly but surely, protagonist Julie is putting her life back together after the tragedy that destroyed her family. Her passion for surfing has become a key part in her recovery, as have the friends she’s made in her new town. But with the advent of the summer holidays, Julie is torn between enjoying a summer unburdened by family drama and returning to the family farm with her brother, Toby, where she will inevitably reopen her emotional wounds. Memories of her father’s court case the previous year are still fresh in Julie’s mind, as is the letter he gave her that until this summer she has not had the courage to open.
